Light
One day with my eyes
Raised up to the sky,
I caught a glimpse
Of a shadow, passing by:
On one cloud's light wing,
And then winds soft song,
The sun almost glimmering,
So close for so long:
As the blackness flew over,
And light flew to higher,
Places without,
Such darkening tires;
I wished just for a moment,
To fly with the breeze,
Above all this fog,
To finally run free.
But then
light
The dark passed,
And near night became day,
And the problems of shadow,
Did not pass away:
But became as the sunrays,
Now kissing Earths face,
To melt into sunrise
Still there.
Unafraid.
