Alone

By Kirsten Nussey

As I look into her eyes i'm forced to look away,
Why can't I admit it, it should be childs play,
She can never understand, could I ever let her know?
What she means to me, I dont think I could show.

As I watch her laughter and as I watch her tears,
I keep it to myself as I have done these past years,
What I feel for her she doesnt feel for me,
What I feel for her she doesnt even see.

I turn to walk away now, scared of what I know,
I turn to walk away now, scared of what i'll show,
I stay instead alone, alone i'll always be,
I stay instead alone, alone because its me...
