When people break up,

People are often consoled with

“Plenty of other fish in the sea”

But who would want

To date fish.

After dating a human

Who except a fisherman

(they don’t even count)

Would want to love a fish

Except as a meal

Or a childhood pet

So why do people say

“Plenty of other fish in the sea”

When no one want to kiss

A fish?
