Note: I'm not religious. I believe in none for some reasons, but this poem popped up in my head while sitin' around

Heaven's Pill

I've lived on this earth for a a long while
I've seen the blood of the innocent
I've seen the murders in covert style
I've watched them, though it was unpleasant

I've heard many things that frightened me
I've heard people bathe in chaos
I've heard stories of thick blasphemy
I've listened to voices of the lost

I've found the cause of this damn simple curse
I've loaded the gun with Heaven's pill
I've let my prayers fall... every verse
To escape this hell and all that's ill
