Plastic Doll

Lovely in sight afar

You smile, everything so wonderful

No one knows how broken you are

Smile, no one sees

Behind the plastic you bleed

You paint the flowers and sunshine

The flowers are wilting

The sun is eclipsed

Under the plastic, a world of darkness

Keep a smile lengthening your lips

The wilting flower petals fall as tears

Threatened by the thorns

No one can see

A lovely life not meant to be

No one can hear the demon's cries

You can't speak as your heart dies

-

Plastic doll, plastic doll

No one to catch you as you fall

Smile, no one sees

Behind the plastic you bleed

-

No one suspects a thing

A smile so lovely

Make them believe

They can't know

The wounds you make and bleed

Upon your flesh, they're safe

Everyone so blind by the sun

-

Plastic doll, plastic doll

No one to catch you as you fall

Smile, no one sees

Behind the plastic you bleed

-

You're lost in your lie

Your soul fades as you weep and die

But it's okay, no one knows

Plastic doll, plastic doll

Lost in darkness

Weeping for light's kiss

The plastic melting

Maybe your blood tears aren't as hard to miss

As the wounds open upon your wrist
