Twinkle twinkle little star.

The midnight sky shone vibrantly. My face shadowed by the beautiful full moon. It felt like I could lay there out under the starry sky forever. I had always been taken by its utter beauty.

How I wonder what you are.

Those midnight stars always remind me of love. Under tonight's shining sky I thought of my most precious love. His smiling face crossed my mind. The sky was has midnight black as my loves hair. His shining green eyes twinkled along with fresh new stars. His facial features and smile were enough to make me melt with joy.

Up above the world so high.

Smiling in precious thought, I closed my eyes. I felt lonely with on this dark night with only my memory to keep my company. I remembered the times when just seeing his smile could keep my world spinning around. Now, just like the stars above my head, he is far away.

Like a Diamond in the sky.

My fingers traced the small pendant around my slim neck. There, yet another small reminder of the one I loved. Every full moon night I lay here thinking back on him. The pendant twinkled along with the stars as my eyelids grew heavy. I slipped into sleep along with my memories. I dreamed only of him, and our lovely midnight fantasy.
