So much caution in the world,
It’s a wonder it doesn’t stop.
Fearful glances seen all around,
Mice take a stronger stance than us.
It’s a curious thing to see,
A tint of yellow striping the Earth,
And too see the sun cause great fright,
Because it casts shadows of such depth.
This was never the human design,
To cower beneath the sheets.
To turn their heads the opposite way,
To be followed by their heads hung in shame.
We don’t seem to see the strength we possess;
The strength to battle the binding dark.
For if we’d learn to trust and stand,
We’d see it’s only God who we have to fear.
