Here they come back again

Those little flutterings

That hunger in my chest

I don’t want them!

I see him, and I long to hold him

I love the way he smells, I’m intoxicated by it

I feel his touch, and I almost lose my mind

But I’ve been down this road before

It’s a dead end

It leads to nowhere

So… why am I on it again?
