The lonely ghost sits on the edge,
Peering down from in her cage.
The ghost thinks that she’s still alive.
She’s unaffected by trivial age.

The lonely ghost looks at her life,
Believes she is a hopeless case.
The ghost relives all of her pain.
Not even home can be a base.

The lonely ghost knows why she’s here,
Fearing all her life that’s left.
The ghost pretends that she’s still there.
On her back her life is heft.

The lonely ghost sits by a cloud,
Knows that she can never return.
The ghost regrets all her mistakes.
For her life she’s left to yearn.
