Don’t Judge Me!

Don’t let them make you feel insecure

“Let” Ha, that’s a funny word

Because

Whether or not you “let” someone do something

They’re going to do what they want to do

“Insecure”, now let’s talk about that

I can point out every one of my flaws

One by one

And I could tell you why that very flaw

Makes me feel insecure

But when someone else

Takes it upon themselves

To point out my flaws

It’s like a tidal wave of broken glass

A slap in the face

A banner across the sky reading

“You’re not good enough”

I shouldn’t have to second guess myself

Because I'm not what you wanted to see

Why? Who are you to judge me?

No one, you’re no one

So I ask you one thing

Just one

Take a look at yourself

And a second glance at me

Then you can let me know who should feel disgusting

Who should feel insecure

Because I would never

Never

Take the time to judge you!
