A stronger love may touch my soul,

May heal my heart, may make me whole,

But no love that’s found here on earth

Can make my worthless heart feel worth,

Can give me a reason to live.

Love wholly willing just to give,

Eternal love, love with no end,

That I can’t full comprehend,

From another time and place,

Another world, another race.

A love so strong no life could be

Important as this love for me.

This stronger love must be a part

Of me, and when it heals my heart,

I’ll know that it’s a love that never

Leave; it will be here forever.

A perfect savior who died for me,

To make me whole, to set me free-

That’s the stronger love I need,

That love can cause me to be freed.

That love I now am asking for-

The perfect love, the open door.
