Prologue:

There were two boys that knew each other well and grew together in the town of Bellevue Washington; they were what most should call best friends. They did everything together; and they made up grand adventures in their heads. To everyone else it was make-believe but to them it was real; to them it was an escape from their own world and a journey into another. This was abruptly cut short when one of the boys was involved in a car accident and put into a comatose state. A young heart cannot understand the matters of the grown-up world, and after a long time the other boy didn’t visit his friend as much as he showed no sign of recovery. But he never forgot him, even after he eventually moved away, and went on to live a normal life like anyone else. He spent his days in the city of Seattle, Washington, with his family and his newer friends. He left his childhood shoes behind, and he forgot all about that world that he and his friend had created for themselves; for each other.
