Falling into Manipulation

I guess she was a
drama queen,
manipulative and exigent.
Never really knowing what she wanted,
but always knowing that she needed it.
And nobody ever questioned it,
they just gave in.
Then she fell in love,
but her little heart just couldn't give up,
or let go of anything.
And she was so afraid,
afraid of change,
afraid of losing control,
but she gave into love.
(for once in her life)
She prodded with ignorance,
and found herself,
without her heart.
It became clear, what she wanted,
(for once in her life)
and yet,
someone had the ability,
to take it away.
