Time passes,

Time strikes.

Time moves,

Time spikes.

Time passes slowly,

Taking precious lives.

Time strikes upwards,

Then falls like dull knives.

Time moves quickly,

Deceiving those who refuse to fall.

Times spikes to an extreme,

Hurting them all.

Time makes fools,

Mere mortals in love.

Time carries them onwards,

To where they belong above.

Saying goodbye kills them both,

Even though she was never his.

But through all they've had,

It's time that bestows that fatal kiss.
