The Quatrains are reworked from my reponses in a poetry dual. I faced 3 very lovely poets and had to answer each in about 5 minutes. I can't post my opponents work, but I was honored by their challenge.

There is true word in my verse
I leave a blessing and relieve the curse
Across a continent I have to sit
But I know how your candle's lit.
A candle so bright must burn so fast
The night is long, but will it last?
The answer I seek always depends
on a candle that burns from both ends.
