Untitled Lovers

Somehow I couldn’t hold back

The first time she kissed me

It was like time had completely stopped

And no one understood

They all told me that she was bad

Wicked

Evil in fact

So what did that make me?

Sinner

Mr. we’re sisters just incredibly close

Liars and lesbians, heathens and Satanists

I’m gay so I must be pagan right?

Why must you be such a rainbow crusader?

You can’t be content with a quiet life and with love

If you keep this up they’ll kill you

Is that what you want?

To be rid of this, of me?

I’ll never forget it

We were in the kitchen and she leaned over

Her hand brushed mine

Fire

Her neck smelled so sweet

So I kissed it

That would make me the wicked one wouldn’t it?

Your honor I beg to differ

The evidence clearly shows

The defense would like to testify

Everybody knows-she started it

Started what?

Take my hand dear, it won’t be okay

At the end of the day

You’re doomed

You and your rainbow cape

Because society is your jury

And in life there are no retrials

There is no fair system

One vote means you lose

They either clear your name or they kill you

There is no hung jury baby

There is only a hung you
