A soft hand caressed her arm, bringing warmth to her cold skin. From behind, an arm wrapped around her waist to hold her close to a strong body. The hand move up and touched her cheek. Her face burned and a weird feeling weird feeling boiled in her gut. The person standing behind her was a complete stranger. There were no air of familiarity between them and she couldn't predict his next move like she could with the all guys she knew. This fact, at first, brought a great sense of discomfort and alarm. She shouldn't have been in this man's arms.

From somewhere inside, an opposing emotion rang out against her logic. This rebellious ray gave out beliefs of safety, happiness, and affection. As sad as it seemed, Jessica had never felt all three with any person she shared a relationship with in her life. Her so-called inner child prevented her from pulling away. It yearned for what others lacked to give her.

Suddenly, the arms withdrew from around her body and the warmth was gone. Jessica took no time to turn around and view her company. There he stood with a smile that showed confidence that she had never seen. The teal orbs of his face reflected innocence that shouldn't be feared, nor seen as false. Her attention was caught on his hair, which was somewhere in-between being dirty blonde and light brown. From unknown reasons, she had the urge to reach out and touch it.

The young man took slow steps over to her. Something about him willed her closer. His hand grasped her face, keeping her gaze upon him. His action succeeded without the slightest hindrance. The handsome face drew nearer to her own. Within seconds, his lips brushed against hers as they shared a passionate kiss. Ecstasy overtook her mind, blocking out any type of real thought in her head. The world had stopped for the blissful moment. It all seemed to fictional for her, like there was some catch to Mr. Perfect.

"Jessica..." No mouth uttered her name more beautifully. "I love you."
