I'm putting together the pieces of a

broken

puzzle.

All these broken edges make it hard to tell

one piece

from another.

I guess I could look at the picture on the box

but what I've done

has made that harder.

You can't see the pictures on the pieces anymore;

the bloodstains

block them out.
