Hey there, Stranger -
it's been a while
since we've last talked,
seen each other.

Now our paths cross
right here again,
beneath grey sky
among red leaves.

I see your tears
and hear your sobs -
tell me stranger,
why do you cry?

My dear Stranger,
forlorn and lost,
no comfort for you
in my cold arms.

Yet as lightning,
it struck me thus -
there's a mirror
in front of me.

Beg your pardon,
do I know you?
Pray thee stranger,
tell me the truth.

Cool tears blind me,
scalding the heart
Do I see me,
stranger no more?

Hey there, Stranger -
it's been a while
since we last talked,
seen each other.
