Yay!! My first story. It wont pick up right away.. I sorry. But I'll try my best 0.o

“Huh? Wha? Where the fuck am I?” I ask wearily.

“Its ok. Settle down.” says my obviously worn out dad.

“Where am I?” I demand.

“Your at the hospital.”

I look around at the bright white room with all the fancy equipment everywhere. Then, I vaguely remembered what happened.

Suddenly Dad embraces me in a big hug and I gasp in pain.

“I’m so glad that you’re okay Riley!” cries Dad.

“Ouch dad pain…OUCH! I love you too?”

“Oops. Sorry I forgot.”

“Its fine.”

Then something struck my mind.

“Where’s mom?!” I ask frantically.

Dad looks up at me with tear filled eyes. A horrible sinking feeling grabs me and pulls me down.

“Riley… Your mom is…dead.”

A man broke into the house three days ago and shot her and you while you were sleeping. Tears start to fall from his face as I listen in horror and shock.

“NO! NO! NO!” I scream. “You liar! You Goddamn fucking lying bastard! Why are you doing this to me?!”

“Riley! Calm down! Its ok.” Dad says calmly

He pulls me into a giant hug and I start to convulse and shake from sorrow, pity, and fear. What’s going to happen to Dad and I? What are we gonna do without her? Tears stream down my face and I just lay there in Dad’s arms sobbing.
