I gaze upon this stone, so clear,

It's features jump out, in my face

As the sky spews down it's tears,

I merge into the Earth.

So sturdy and so precious,

I watch the oil run down it's features

Poisoning it and the Earth below.

Which will, in turn, poison all the creatures.

I am part of the problem.

Cold and damp, I rest my hand,

upon this dying land.
