Autobiography in Haiku
(A/n: Although this isn't poetry, this is the last thing I have from Creative Writing at home. It an autobiography of one experience in less than 100 words)
My Humble Beginnings
Three years ago, I had a thought and wrote it down. I saw something great. It became named Her Will and Strength. Through the years, I wrote, I became distracted with poetry and other ideas for novels and short strories. Yet I felt something was missing. My life was beginning to turn from its Creator (me); I wasn't acomplishing anything! I turned back to my novel and took it back in. I absorbed it and it became real. My one simple thought burst into a whole outline of a culture and an idea of a wondrous saga. My dream is now my life.
