Spring,

The renewal.

I have always

Found it

Overrated.

Because flowers in bloom

May be pretty,

But they don't

Hold the appeal

Of summer as

The heat consumes you

Or of fall's slow

Descent into madness

And the quiet emptiness

Of winter.
