Can’t you see her crying?
Don’t you hear her?
The screams resounding in my head…
Can’t you feel her?
She’s shaking, trembling beneath your touch…
Don’t you love her?
It tears my heart out just to look…
And I can’t fathom-
the tears and blood are just too much…
And don’t you watch her?
Her beauty hidden beneath the scars…
And will you hold her?
She’s so torn inside…
And I do love her.
I tried so hard to free her from her bonds…
But then I realized.
I was attempting to save her from herself,
But I couldn’t leave her…
So I just fell deeper into despair.
And I can’t reach her…
We both fell pray to the same darkness.
Though I’m not sure how she loves him.
And I’m not certain...
I don’t know how I touched her.
