Mind

Here’s what lays in your mind,

Do you approve,

Did you really want to know?

Here’s what lays in your mind,

Do you approve,

Did you really want to know?

Now you’re wondering if this was a mistake,

You were happier in the mist of lies and comfort,

Now these memories come back to scar,

Really why did you do this to yourself?

You’re going back in time,

I won’t be there to hold your hand,

You need to calm yourself down,

You need to find out who you really are,

But I won’t be able to hold your hand through this,

Find who you are,

Beyond the lies,

Can’t you see yet?

Figure out the lies that surround you,

Find the truth within yourself,

You can do this,

I know you’ve lived a sheltered life,

But you’re strong enough inside,

Have you figured it out yet?

Didn’t you see what you have done,

This story has only begun,

Your pieces are just little fragments to uncover,

Good luck child.

I can greet the day, knowing I’m thankful for life.
