The Storm

You look at me,

Here upon this stage,

You’re hearing me,

Listening to me pour my heart out,

And you look away in shame.

Chorus:

You were the one,

Who walked out on me,

You were the storm,

Not me,

Did you ever think,

I wouldn’t remember you.

Hello,

Wake up,

This is no fairytale,

This is the real thing,

Get used to that fact.

Chorus.

Walked out on everybody,

With only one goodbye,

Which wasn’t to me,

And only hate mail from you,

To remind me,

That you’re still there,

Chorus.

And I know you’re still there,

Everyday of my life,

But you were the storm,

Not me,

And that storm is still there...
