In Your Absence

Note: He'll never know how much he meant to me..

Hours pass as she sleeps near the phone:
her head cradled against lucid dreams&vivid memories
that s l o w l y feast upon her weathering love for
him

His words still whisper in the wake of her s/t/i/t/c/h/e/d heart. As prophets have proclaimed many years before, silence is deafening (&soarethey). Teary eyes encroach upon her demon(ic angel) - all she wishes is for him to speak/scream/whisper to her. I know he loves me if he wastes a single, precious breath for my behalf. She prays to her God in constant devotion to the romance she lost :: curses&slander against her bleeding nature would suffice, after all he would be talking to her.

She wishes to the stars for
s a l v a t i o n--
bleeding hands will hold onto the threads until
he lifts her up or..
the rope rips

:: Love, do yourself a favor...cut the string&let me fall ::
