While We Were Sleeping

While we slept you cut my throat

And watched me drown

In my bloody puddle

On the ground

X

You kick my face

I don’t scream

You act like you’re in

That same old dream

X

You kiss my cold, dead, decaying lips

Realizing that this

Is not your bliss

Reality comes back

You start to scream

Wishing you never had

That fucking dream

X

You open the drawer

Pull out the gun

Knowing soon

All will be done

X

A final breath

One single shot

You lay beside me

Together we rot.

I'm still not the greatest writer. I'm sorry! Review please!
