Men pack their bags

To leave their homes

And go off for training.

They were chosen

To serve their country

And will have to travel across seas

To a foreign place

Where shots ring out

And everyone is vulnerable.

Once they depart,

They may not return;

Their families may mourn their deaths.

But the many who die

Will die for an honorable cause…

Allowing us to keep our freedom.
