I remember what you've said,

my dear old friend,

all those times I cry out at night

I remember you.

And the hope of seeing you again

gives me a will to survive,

but I can't move on,

I remember you.

I sit alone in the evening

writing letters that will never reach you

I sit and watch the sunset

and I remember you

I keep everything you told me

close to my heart

like fragile china,

it's precious to me.

I remember you.
