HurtLove

It hurts when you think you may be in love with two people.
And they love each other.
But you’re content enough, happy for their happiness.
‘Till one of them is in love with you too…
And you already know you love them back…
But you still hurt,
As you watch the other person hurt,
And then you really know,
Every second you’re alive,
You’re hurting the other person you love,
That still loves the same person you do,
And should hate you
...And does
...Or doesn’t
...Or will.
Even though you still love them too.

This was a quick free-verse poem written in all of five minutes, expressing what I’ve been feeling for several months. It’s really just personal angsting, not any work of art, but I mean what I say in it. Unfortunately there's some stuff that didn't transfer to the posting of this, so there should be slashes between hurt and love in the title, and the formatting is messed up.
