Typical, Typical

Everyday I follow the teenage code (mindlessly),
Seamlessly, it has formed into (part of) my life.

Lying through my teeth, faking my every action;
’Tis what I do everyday; Thou should knowest.

You are my mirror (formed by water in the mud),
Similar, similar - just call us perfect polar equivalents.

The words coming out of your mouth are meaningless,
abused, misused, mangled, disregarded, and unpleasant.

You’re deaf to your own words, yet whenever I return them,
You seem ever-so hurt (and cry those bitter, bitter tears).

But that’s okay, because I’m pretending I’m just like you,
Everyday, I never stop (this never ending masquerade).

(But don’t think that I’m so ignorant
that I do not see you on stage with me)

From the Desk of (insert your nickname here):

Blah, my style’s very rough/brutal, ne? I can’t tell you how much I’ve changed this. Eh...I kind of wrote this out of anger anyways (can you tell?)... Heh, maybe I'll rewrite this to make it smoother...someday...
