“Walk with me… beneath the Raven moon...”

Let Nature’s voices sing

Let the wind cry

Let the clouds take wing

And let mortality die.

Two hearts embrace

Across a star-fallen sky

Distance separates

Long-lost bloodied tears

Grief and our valedictions

Taking over our fears

Torn and tabled feelings

Midnight blue and blacks

Something of just ‘being’

Let Nature’s voices sing

Let the wind cry

Let the clouds take wing

And let mortality die.

Two hearts embrace

Across a star-fallen sky

Knowledge of the fates

And two souls die

Holding on to nothing

Dancing though bound

Forever ceases blindly

Chains pulling us down

Killing immortality

Love’s death dies

Weeping willows break

One last goodbye

Nature’s voices sing

Winds weep and cry

Clouds fly

On broken wings

And immortality

Dies.
