Blaze your Trail

To make your own trail is the way to go

After all, it’s easier in the long run, I know

No worries of hitting pot holes along the way

Despite what the road workers may say

No traffic to hold you back or slow you down

With no loud radios, horns, or some other sound

Your created path is what you want it to be

It will take you wherever and show you what you want to see

With your own trail you’ll never lose your place

No matter what may be your case

If you try and follow the winding road already there

You’ll soon be looking for someone to care

To show you the way around the potholes and through the trends

I know it’s hard to find your way around those bends

So make your own trail to go where you want it to

You may find that you create a better path; it’s true

Don’t waste your time on a pre made road

For it is a windy, dark, and dreary load

Blaze your own trail and be who you want to be

And wherever you make it lead, you’ll surely succeed
