this is just something borne out of a heartache and love that’s been lost. it's not exactly personal but it hits a spot right there points to the left parasternal border – ‘coz that’s where the heart is (",) . it's not meant to be a song either. the concept of love is embodied in the word “song.”

oh the song

oh the song that hath once beat upon thy chest

and hath offered thee a life real bless'd

in sorrowful rhythm has squandered its strength

upon playing its measures at full length

-

oh the song that hath once fettered thy limbs

and hath showered thee with crimson dreams

has poured upon thee the cursed mourning

of a thousand cherubs in heaven’s waking

-

oh the song that hath once besieged thy weakness

and hath drowned thee in blissful fondness

in cheerless melody has bade thee farewell

by fate the prudent or'cles could ne’er foretell

-

oh the song that hath once saved thy soul from fading

and hath breathed into thee hope unending

now hums the requiem of thy heart in its passing

and has left thee cold, forsaken, and bleeding

to those who have felt the pang of emptiness after a life real bless’d - you will hear that song again someday... just keep your senses open.
