You're a great friend, you've been with me through it all,

You were there to catch me from that devastating fall.

I begged, pleaded and longed to be loved,

I couldn't take it anymore, I hated being shoved.

You saved me from my world of fear when I was really scared,

You gave me your beating heart which you most willingly shared.

All I ever wanted was to have someone real,

Someone I could not only touch but even feel.

You've wiped away all those dirty unwanted tears,

You've made me smile with those uplifting cheers.

I have a sun that shines brighter than the moonlit sky,

I have a sun that warms me up like in mid-summer July.

It's you, the one person I need most on this earth,
