Silver Temptation
He was a soulless mortal that day…
What the past had destroyed,
The present then gave,
A shattering force, of depression ignored.
Desperately he wanted to pick it,
To feel it slice across his wrist,
To feel that pain of his skin tearing,
To see the red water slowly flow.
Knowing what would have been done,
Could not have been undone,
The blade laid to rest,
As did the temptation.
