Well, here I am,
alone again,
here, with words and weapons.
"You're welcome," says the night
when the day arrives.
"Thanks again," I say,
"for the dreams I didn't have."
But it's too late
and the night walks away.
I have no worries,
for in the late hours of the day,
the sun can hide again
and I can have the moon
and the stars,
the gods of the night,
and...
...maybe I will dream tonight.
