This is a short story I wrote after realizing that… well, just read and review..

“Gods forbid if somebody should ever fall in love with you Ilea,” Isis said sarcastically. “I envy her soul for it to be destined to yours. I hate her mind for tricking you away from me and I pity her heart for the day you break it. Your name should be Heart Breaker, get it tattooed to your forehead as a warning sign for girls like Athena and myself. We really don’t need you lies, because every time you come back around here, you lift me up, raise my heart, make me think that maybe, maybe things will be different, better even. Yet then I realize something: you lie! It escapes me so often, it’s so easy to forget what you have done and what you continue to do and I will no longer take it.

This will be my reminder Ilea Thomas James. Always and forever. I gave you my heart and you ripped it apart, just like some cheap champagne, to which I’ll never understand. And maybe you never will either so thank you for the good times, I’ll make sure to forget them soon. So long and good night. Goodbye, nice to know you,” Isis said and turned her back.

The sun was shining dimly through the clouds at an awkward angle, causing her to squint in the dim afternoon. Yet her task was complete. She paused, looking over her shoulder at the lone grave marker. “You always were a good listener. Thanks for the chat,” she smiled and continued her steady pace back through the cemetery to her car.

Have fun.”
