Praise Hymn: Isis
You will see her, the raven haired one, the ancient one, the winged one.
She is your mother, you will see her come in the night sky, in the river which you hold so dear, and in the return of her husband, the eternal one, the dead one, Osiris.
Oh Isis! Goddess of motherhood and fertility, your mother of creation, your ascension and your rebirth.
Now is her time, your lady of Sekhet, lady of Besitet, let her phoenix soar high, singing happily her praises to Sirius who welcomes her arrival with open arms smiling down upon you, his people of Egypt, like a Shepard to his flock, he will lead you to the Nile which flows overjoyed, becoming as vast as the Sahara itself.
Egypt has long awaited the arrival of Isis, you are weak and weary like the rock is worn to sand in the blistering heat, and unforgiving winds.
She has died before and is reborn again for you, your queen of the Underworld and corn.
Your glorious Inundation is done again, let her rest, she has worked well for you.
Praise her spirit, praise her soul, and praise her being, your goddess, your protector, your deliverer.
