.: Playing Cat and Mouse

When you're not around,

the mice come out to play

and I, the cat, shall hunt

them down.

(oh my, what pain)

Sliding along the wind and

while they, oh so hard, try

to hide I, the cat, can hear

them cry,

(oh my, the pain)

Silently, they scream, and

oh how they run, scattering

like grey leaves on the wind,

and just as noisy.

(oh my, such pain)

Oh, good sir,

don't listen to them, sir,

don't see them run, sir,

don't pay attention, and

mostly importantly,

don't come back, sir.

(oh my, your pain)

Is most appetizing, sir,

and yet I crave for more.
