Only Forever is Enough

This is a very short and simple poem. I actually didn't even intend on this being THE poem...more of thoughts and feelings just to get out and then to be reexamined into a poem, but I hope it works the way it is.

Never have I been so happy;
You light up my world.
Nothing compares to the security I find within your arms.
The mere thought of you makes my heart ache
With a longing to be with you once again.
Never has love felt this real.
When I am with you, it is never long enough,
But when I am without you, there is nothing.
You put a smile on my face
Like no one else can.
I love you so much
That I wonder if saying it
Is even enough to make you understand
How much I mean it.
