Hello, my fair public! It is I, Vandagirl, writing yet another poem since… forever… so here it is! Hope you enjoy it, and leave a review! Thanks!

He Thought the Lover, I Knew the Traitor

He thought she loved him
And would do anything for him
He thought she was the one
He thought she was perfect
In every possible way
He thought they would always be
There are always flaws in thinking
Our thoughts can drift away
Even if we feel so certain

I knew she would betray him
And leave him in the dust!
I knew she wasn’t right!
I knew she was so imperfect
In every possible way!
I knew they would never be!
There are never flaws in knowing
Our minds should stay down-to-earth
Even if we feel uncomfortable speaking them

She thought she could get away
And leave him in the dust
She even knew they weren’t right
She thought her lies would solve things
In every possible way
She knew they would never be
There are most flaws in thinking selfishly
Her thoughts always revolved around her
Even if she knew the consequences

He thought she was a lover
I knew she was a traitor!
She thought her way was best
She now knows I won’t let her get away
No one treats him like that!
The traitor will have to pay!
She thought she knew everything
She knows she thought wrong
Because I knew it all along
