I sit in the classroom, eyelids sagging
The Sandman kisses me again
I feel the warmth of the sun, laying
on the rays like slick peanut butter
That I lick off your nose in the summer timeThe scent of pillows warmed by skin
tantalizes me in this sleepy haze
I feel you coming near me, a perfect smile
makes the world turn upside down
As this firework Monday lights up with a passion

A firework Monday, you once told me as you trace my skin with your lips, is when we look at each other and fireworks light up the dreary world, licking each others wounds.

I smiled. There is hope after all.
