The Truth about Freedom

The sky is vast,

Death inevitable,

Time everlasting—

These are known truths.

Is it true that life was the greatest gift to man?

No.

Life is just a canvas,

A place for the paint on our fingertips.

Is the goal in Life to achieve true Freedom?

Maybe.

But freedom costs more than it’s worth.

We searched for satisfaction,

But couldn’t stand the disappointing truth.

We fought for liberty,

But lost our lives and humility.

We asked for our equality,

But only succeeded in destroying that of others.

Then,

When wanted true Freedom,

We had to force it upon ourselves to take it.

What is true Freedom?

Freedom is nothing more than a lie when it’s forced.

True Freedom will always be free.
