Stubbing my toe, whilst skimming through De Creteau,

A door slamming shut too soon,

Inaudible curses, miserable dirges,

An ode to the death of noon.

Ladies and gentlemen step right up

Hurry, hurry, hurry,

Spare change and concession pass

The jump seat to the limbo

Dear brother, today I spat,

On Vicky’s feet, no bother,

Towering over the uncaring,

Bronze flatulence, ingloriously exalted

Purgatory in nightfall glory

Neon blinds the taste,

Shadows form in multi-stories,

Clouting not my haste
