Vehicles

You look at the world and say,

“I see…”

But no, you don’t.

Men have died for “honor” of worthless things,

Chivalry has never truly been "alive".

Morality is not found in righteousness,

Possibly within reasonability...

And every time someone makes a racist remark,

A kid that knows better shits his pants.

Is a higher power manmade ideology?

Are we all too insecure to play with that?

I know that it seems noble to try to save everyone,

But it’s not possible to truly save someone.

One day it might take all your energy to keep yourself going…

Be careful friend…

Maybe “beliefs” are dangerous in general,

You’re only as powerful as the vehicle you’re in.

Remember that.

Make sure you don’t stand for the wrong thing,

Make sure you don’t die for nothing.

Above all,

Make sure you know what the hell you’re talking about.

What’s going to protect you when you crash and burn?

I feel safer on my own…

I’m sick and tired of ejection seats,

Jettisoned out into nothingness too many times…
