Feeling

She writes.

She pours her heart into a poem,
her only way of showing how she feels.

Her love for words, second to another feeling,
grants her freedom –
and takes it away.

She thinks, long and hard.
Shakes her head.
Deletes all
but one phrase:

So – this is how it feels.
