Fingers grace the strings, plucking, strumming
A taut smile winds up her face; a clockwork doll
With cool curves clutched up against her breast;
A conductor; the point where the vibrations sink through
Sound stirring something soulful and passionately calm
She lays her head down; like resting one's head
Upon the shoulder of a man speaking a foreign tongue
Yet with intuitive understanding of every intense word.
