Mountain Lake

It swirls and whirls
-painted glass-
that started and then
stopped-
like so many other things.
Looking at the world
sunny-side up must be nice,
especially when you have captured
every soft, snowy cloud
to add to your already vibrant painting.
I follow the path,
around the mountain bend
to touch the beauty of the canvas.
Reflection is only skin deep.
